day 2 in the 'Home Alone' house....

My first son was born in 1981 and I haven't been 'home alone' for longer than 12 hours at a time since then..... until now. Yesterday, I had to work so wasnt home till about 6pm. Today I decided to have a de-clutter and cleaning blitz & told myself that I wouldn't have a day out to do stuff for me till I'd got the place how I want it ... BUT the hoover's stopped working.... so, do I have your permission to take the day off tomorrow??

I say go for it, Wizzywig! People used to tell me, You know, the laundry will still be there when you get back. So, take a day just to breath and do what you want to do, for a change!

Yeah, me too... that's probably why I haven't knocked the plastic dragons etc into the middle of next week yet. I was in a good mood on Sunday & got the "25 chocolate brownie bites" on my way to work thinking we could all share them at break time. However, when I got there, they sent me to a different area to cover absence, so I brought them home ... just ate the last one.(Decided to give the bathroom scales a miss this week...)
