It all started from one phenomenon after the other. Started off with Susan Boyle, followed by the other 2, Shaheen and Hollie. This season promises many interesting acts and talents and also full of surprises. But let's not stray from the topic here. For those of you that do not know, Susan Boyle is the phenomenal singer/overnight celebrity that have taken over the world by storm. Okay, maybe not the world. But at least part of it. For the benefit of those who don't know and wish to watch it, here are their performances. Here is Susan Boyle: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9lp0IWv8QZY Here is Sha Heen: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CglFUA9vJJg Here is Hollie Steel: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RY-BY4YNs0o What do you think and who would you root for? If you ask me, I'll say Susan Boyle was really the best amongst them three. She has such a great lovely voice that'll put many singers to shame. Wowww!

Have to say tht out of the acts the best i've seen was either 'Flawless' but mainly 'Diversity' the dance group last week where just phenomenal. I couldn't believe they never got mentioned or wrote up like the others...and Yet the DJ with gold teeth did... but there ya go. Susan was absolutely awesome though =D, out of the three i'd root for her. I actually felt ashamed when i saw the facial reactions of the audience when she came on stage O.O it was horrific how they prejudged her! Happy Mylotting =P

Yea.. Actually, I also pre-judged her when she did the hula-hoop thingy.. Haha.. Yeah, Diversity and Flawless were great too. I love Flawless more. They're really unique and have a witty dance style. Diversity's style is more Jabawockee-like and rather common. But Diversity's kids were awesome! I don't know if it's just me but I'm predicting many finalists already. And it's only the 3rd episode. This season of BGT is special..

I can't watch those links from here (I'm at work) but as soon as I'm home I will. I just hope they don't make Susan Boyle alter her looks and style. She has a great voice but she is also so down to earth just like us and it would be a shame to spoil her.

I was told to bring a book to have handy during slack times. Who needs a book when there's so much to read on here?

Susan would get my vote...He sounds good now but who knows when Shaheens voice will change. It could be one of the biggest disappointments he will ever have to face. I missed Hollie but I also haven't seen much press about her. So I hope Susan gets to see her dream come true even if it is short lived.

Hey zahfran! I really like Susan Boyle's voice! I think that she is extremely talented! I think that the other two are good, but they are young and have time to grow and change and I don't think that they compare to Susan! Of course, that is my opinion! I do think that Hollie is very talented and has an incredible voice too! But, if I had to vote it still would be for Susan Boyle!

Hi Man. How you doing ? I think all three acts were amazing. Though I think my money would be on Susan Boyle just because she has a great voice and because of all the media coverage she has gotten over the last while. Just look how many hits she got on youtube in the first 24 hours of the video going up. No matter what this years competition is going to be very interesting and a fun one to watch

If Susan does not win it the contest must be rigged, but it will be a close call as there are some great performers this year

I must have watched the clip a hundred times, always rewinding to the point where she starts singing and jaws drop ! She has a great voice and the song is perfect for her.you look at her and think about what her dream must have been. BUT...I have seen photos of her since she had a mini- budget makeover. The Scottish kind, haha! Gone are the thick eyebrows, the wiry hair with grey roots showing. She is obviously still recognizable, but very different looking nonetheless. And it occurred to me that her looks and the perception we have of her voice are totally linked . Not that her voice isn't great, but try and picture a 47 year old, stunning looking woman singing this song. Yes, we 'd have clapped, but its the perceived discrepancy between looks and voice which hits a spot with us. If this goes , maybe after a few more makeovers, we'll be disappointed because the Susan Boyle phenomenon is based on the ' surprise' factor, and the fact that a part within ourselves is uncomfortable touched by reminding us how judgmental we actually are.

Yeah, I've thought about that too. It is the surprise factor. To me, it's not really so much about the looks though they do play a part. Rather it's the part when she said she wants to be like Elaine Paige and the hula hoop part. Haha.. But think about it, if a stunning woman were to do that, we'll probably won't be too harsh.

hi zahfran! yeah, indeed people are talking about susan boyle. i like her. i like her style. and i like her voice. i jsut wonder though if people would be as interested in susan if it were only her singing voice that made her unique. she is a total unique package--her personality, her features, her fashion, and her voice. if you would take one out, it would not be susan boyle. anyway, i have seen hollie steel, and i hope they package her far better next time. the ballerina thing was awful, but she sings lovely. i am not aware of the third one you mentioned, sha heen. i will the video out. thanks for sharing! God bless you and happy mylotting!:D

Hello, you're definitely right. It wouldn't be Susan Boyle anymore if something was missing. As for Hollie Steel, Simon already had his hands on the buzzer! lol.. I think Hollie's original plan was to just dance but seeing Simon about to press the buzzer, she changed her mind and sang. That's good. We should always have a backup plan or Plan B. :)

Hello wildcat, Susan would win amongst the three but Britain's got Talent. There's many episodes yet to be watched. Hoping for more pleasant surprises.

lol =D I think susan is the more famous person out of the 3 mentioned.. For firstly, she made most ple take notice of her via her appearance, followed by her vocals.. lol =D I wonder why is she so special, just because of her nice voice?? Or that there are actually nobody else in Britain that can really sing, except for her?? haha =D She's taking too much of the limelight for now, and to think Larry king on BBC is interviewing her as well.. lol =D I cant imagine what's gonna happen if she does not win the competition.. haha =D

Yes i do agree with you. Susan Boyle has a beautiful voice, and she should go very far. The one video of her first appearance on the show brits have talent. Was a good one to watch because everyone was making fun of her when she just walked out, and then as soon as she started singing everyone changed their mind instantly.

Hi zahfran..I live in Canada and I know who susan is...Her voice is amazing. You would not expect that to come out of her. She just doesnt fit the profile of a star singer. However, since her success on the show, she has now cleaned herself up some, sporting a new hair style and new fashionable clothes. I think its great for her! Who would have known?

yaknow, i'm not too inparticularly impressed by her. Sure, she has an awesome voice - but she's not really star material. There was a better Susan once: Desperately Seeking Susan (Madonna)

Hahaha.. Yea. That's what makes her unique. If she has the star material, star looks and all, I wouldn't call that Susan Boyle.
