Yes, I would. Don't we like chatting with our grand mother and grand daughter? The same way we can enjoy chatting on internet with old people. I have many friends who are well above my age but I still enjoy them because they are funny as well as experienced and who knows, I can win some good lessons from them!

I also think it is good to chat with older people. Some younger generation does not talk to older people and also does not chat with older people.

First of all chatting is a modern method for dating. Don't take it in the dating sense of today, but actually 'dating' in older days meant going out with your friends for a snack and a little chat. It's what the modern boys of India do in front of dhabas, stalls etc. Now chatting has changed the scenery of modern world. By chatting there are two methods of gaining: -direct info regarding various topics. -various cultures etc. For both these advantages a person who is old and experienced is preferred. So certainly, I would never miss out a chance to chat with an older person. Happy mylotting, AJ.

Of course. I enjoy talking to anyone no matter their age. I have friends who are younger than me who turn to me for advice and I have older friends who I turn to advice and share things that I am learning and they can tell their stories. Like the other night I sat with many women from my church talking about being married and living with a guy it was a lot of fun.

I think it is great to talk with people not considering their age, but considering their personality and behavior.

Yes, i will. As long as we're having a good conversation, i don't see any reason why i won't chat with them. It's not like i'm going to meet them or have a romantic relationship. It's just us having a good time and that is what is important in chatting. Sometimes, older people can give you sound advice and you may need them in times of distress. These are the people who experienced a lot in life.

It is always the quality of conversation and how good a conversation more important rather than the age of the person.

hi ajitlal, When I was a kid, I not like chatting with people older than me.It's because sometimes, I cannot understand what they are talking about. Older people loves to share their philosophies in life and to my young mind, I really cannot get what they are trying to say.But as I grow older, I appreciate chatting with people older than me.I can say that they have more experience in life. And because of that, we can gain wisdom by listening on them.I can see no problem chatting with them.In fact, it is a pleasure for me making friends with them.

No big problem with me when it comes to chatting. However it is a different story if should I pursue a relationship with someone way way older than me and it is initially done through chatting. I don't really go for that kind of trend.

It is always great to chat with people with all ages especially older people have more wisdom. One time I found that some people would not chat with people who are older than them.

I actually enjoy conversing with older people much more than those of my own age. I feel there is no substitute for experience and taking to those who have been there and done that is where you can learn.

Of course, depending on my mood. Sometimes I'm not in the mood for chat but when I'm in the mood, I can always chat with anyone regardless of their age, their gender, or their profession. I'm open and welcome to anyone.

I have no problem talking to someone who is older than me. Many friends online are older as well as several of my co-workers. People older than me are full of great advice and are usually very pleasant to talk to.
