Do you take naps???

It was a slow day today, so, I layed down on my livingroom couch and took a nap. I ended up sleeping for about 3 hours.... I hope I don't have trouble falling asleep tonight. My question is: Do you take naps?? How do you usually feel after a nap? Do you feel like you are more tired or do naps make you feel revived?

I don't sleep that much so I do take a nap or two during the day and I do find it refreshing. I would normally take a nap when I get home from work, so I can enjoy the rest of the day without being tired.

When I still have a regular job, I can't get naps even if I am too sleepy. The office allow us to have power naps considering the "boring" office works we got. I just can't get my eyes and mind rest for a while. The problem is, I was often caught in sleeping mode while doing something in front of my laptop. But here at home, I can take a 15-30 minutes nap in the afternoon without any problem. When I feel sleepy, I lay down in the couch, and presto, I'm off to dreamland. Those power naps make me more active the rest of the afternoon.

If I am at home I would usually take as much naps in between. But, now that i am working I am not able to find time to really take those naps in between work. We do have a lunch break in between but I cannot do the nap in between the breaks.

I do take naps. Usually though I only nap once a week. I sleep late enough on the weekends to not really need a nap. I just get really tired on Thursdays because I have class late on Wednesday night, I have a teaching assignment early in the morning and then I have a long class until dinner. So, after that I'm usually tired enough to want a nap.

There are days, when I do take naps, but I'm really not much of the nap-type of person. The days that I am sick, or feeling really exhausted, for whatever reason, I may take a nap for an hour or hour and a half, but really no more than that, simply because I want to be able to have a good night's sleep. Though, this rarely happens, as I am not much of the napping person.

I can't nap or I get horrid headaches. I'm told that it could be part of the blood sugar thing but who knows? The headache lasts longer then the nap so it doesn't make sense to nap.

I take a 15 minute nap everyday after work and it refreshes me so that I can stay up until 9 or so....I get up for work at 4a.m. so a nap to me is a must if I want to stay up for a while after supper!

I sometimes try to take naps during the day, but it never really works for me. I have to be super tired to take a nap during the day. It just is something that I dont want to be able to do that much of because I don't think that I could sleep at night if I was napping during the day.

I didn't take naps before. Now that I work from 5am-2pm, I take naps very often. I feel like I have become a cat, sneaking naps each time.
