Well i hardly get to actually sit down in some quite dark place and watch the starts. First of thing which makes it impossible is my hectic schedule and second one will be the pollution you have in big cities you can barely see the sky. Still whenever i get time to visit my parents village i always love to sleep under open sky watching all the stars flickering above my head it's just so calming experience and mysterious one at the same time ! Hey do feel free to check out my discussion on the legit site i recently found and waiting fro your reply !!

I live in the city and I found it is not so easy for me to look at the stars. Due to the pollution, it's hard for us to see many stars in the sky. And we are busy with our work and housechores, and we seldom will relax and take a break to just look at the stars. I love China

that is so sad. air pollution is really a bad thing in our environment. thankfully we dont have that much here in my place. we still have the time to look at it and enjjoy the beauty of what the stars may bring us. its really a good thing to do. to enjoy and relax even once in a while in our very hectic lives. jhelai

Hello, I think astronomers named them for the sake of simply remembering them. and they are also used for zodiac purpose. you know, the alignment of this planet here and there can cause either good or bad luck to us. to be honest, i have little interest in stars but the fact that some of them may have a civilization like us something can be intriguing as well. have a nice day

oh! thanks for your response dear. anyways, i guess they do anme the stars for rememberignt and for knowing when that star is sighted. some have findings so its better to make such even weirds names for them to let others know and the fellow scientists know about it as well.. our universe is already quite intriguing as it is my friend. thanks jhelai

I love looking at the stars. When I was a kid I used to carry a book with me every night just to locate my favorite set of stars, the big dipper. I value the stars not because of how helpful they are but because I look at them as if they are my friends guiding me and cheering me on. As to how they were helpful, I think stars were the one to guide sailors in the past when compass was not yet invented and they were a big help for map makers of that time.:)
