Do you love to be tanned? I do, or well I did when I was a teenager and in my 20s...but now that I am in my later 30s I try to avoid the sun a bit more as I am getting closer to 40 and concerned now more about my skin. Summer vacations always meant laying out in the sun, going to the beach and just hanging out and getting a great tan....now... well, I tend to wear the more SPF available and looking for sunspot removers?....LMAO!!!!! so how about you?

I do not like much of heat. Here is hot most of part of the year. Winter is just not so hot. I find it easier to work comfortable when I am inside. Visiting sea beaches stats to get horrible after a while. I love sea but visit it after it gets little cool.

that makes sense!! I can understand when it gets too hot to go to the beach, worse if the beaches are over crowded... thanks for the response.

I like the look of a nice golden tan and try to achive that at much as i can during the year. I don't like the washed out dull look on myself, it just makes me look blah and I don't think it's the look for me. Give me a little bit of color lol. My older sister looks alot better with the pale, almost porceline doll look. When she gets a tan she doesn't look every well. Some people look better with some color to them, others dont. I am one that needs the color, lol..

I do not like being tanned. My skin is sensitive to the sun. My skin gets itchy and red when I spend a long time under the sun. So no matter how I love going to the beach I can't stay under the sun for more than 30 minutes. Anyway I still enjoy summer in the beach. I do not use any kind of skin protection because I rarely go to the beach and when I am there I only use lotion very little.

When i was in my teenage i love to stay outside and i don't care whether my skin got a little changed in color and sometimes feel itchy because of strong heat from the sun. I also went seashore to have walk and then go for swim, i like the feeling that my skin is like slightly burning then go for swim! but now i noticed some small age spots in my hands and face , i no longer go out starts 10am to 3pm unless an important reason that i need go out but i make sure i bring umbrella because sunglasses is not enough. I read that heat from the sun within these hours even you are still young will result to early appearance of skin discoloration even if you are still in your twenties or thirties. Wish i knew these facts before.

ME TOO!!! I have noticed a spot or two as well and I know it was from all the time I spent in the sun... I should have been using it a long time ago. thanks for the response.

I was out side tanning when I was young and I think people with tans look so much better than a pale skin.It is good to wear the sun screen now to help protect your skin.I have had a mole took off that would have turned into cancer.I don't sun tan any more but work in my yard I do wear protection now

yes, unfortunately as we get older....we have to pay the price for those days in the sun and not knowing what we know now for the use of sunscreen and all its benefits...LOL thanks for responding.

Hmm because my people (South East Asians) are naturally Tanned, I guess sun worshiping is a no brainer for us. And the fact we get more that what we want a day even on the streets ain't helping. But if I were a Pale Skinned person I guess I would love to sun bathe...But for us sun bathing makes us...hmm more Tanned LOL And in our culture darker skin is not exactly beautiful...well that's just us ok, for us in Asia its more of a fixation to try to be lighter rather than Darker. But I would say Tanned Caucasians are very very hot :) So keep on flocking on the beaches whoever you are!!!

I use to be a sung goddess growing up but I never tanned very well... I am extremely pale skinned and I would try everything to get a decent tan by time school went back ....only I got burnt alot instead. now that I am older I get tanned, but I use more SPF so that helps out ...I dont get burnt so much and have to stay out of the sun for a week.... thanks for responding.

I don't really like to go out to tan, because I get really dark, really easily. I much prefer a fair complextion on myself. But I do love going outside and playing in warm, sunny weather. I'm somewhat immune to sunburns, but I always wear sunscreen when I stay in the sun for long time periods, anyway.
