Does anybody no if Absinthe is forbidden in their country? That green fairy bottle that has 57% or more of alcool is not illegal in Portugal. It is the trademark drink to get drunk quick and cheap. And you, have you ever drank it?

Absinthe was illegal in the USA but I have found out recently at a bar I went to that they sell shots of green fairy. I asked the bartender about it and I guess they allow it if there is less active ingredient (wormwood) in it. I have never drank it but I have always wanted to. It is one of the things I have to do before I die. I will probably wait to drink it when I travel to another country so I can have the real deal with the normal amount of wormwood in it. I think it will be more fun that way.

That is a good ideia. The sensation of the real deal is fenomenal. Awesome, and i say by experience.

it was,but i'm not entirely sure what the true status of it right now is. supposedly modern absinthe sold in the USA isn't quite like it was originally,so that may be why it's being sold again.i would like to try it though.

I have no idea is it is illegal here in Ireland or not but know I want to find out. Come to think of it I have not seen it for sale in bars or stores but I could be wrong. I have never tired it but would love to give it a go sometime
