rain in summer....

Was that a case with you, congratulations, here whether is hot and with 50% humidity too. So even if the temparature is 38 degree Celsius it still gives us a feeling that it is 40 degree Celsius. I wish that we will also get some rain in recent days!

Oh Now I can remember myself playing in the rain with my friends when they were home. It was fabulous.A little rain is always good.;-)

yup Rain tends to do that make mud but so glad it cooled things down for most time when sun comes back out it is just so humid and muggy

It is the same here. It has been pretty hot for the past few days. I do agree the rain helps but the weather seems so much hotter after the rain. I just hope it will not continue to rain for the next few days...

Rain in summer is always welcome. In my place summer has started. Yesterday it was 43.5 degree Celsius, the hottest day in April in last 51 years. Coming months are going to be very hot. Rain will come only in July, if not delayed further.

Rain in hot summer is refreshing and relieving. We are seething here with 42 degree F, with no sign of rain whatsoever. Some parts of India have drizzled and people there have felt the cooling down. Hope you are feeling better with the rains.

It has been raining in Waco, Tx and in Houston too. For the last several days we have had a lot of rain. Houston had some major flooding problems and some roads here were flooded. But since we have had very little rain lately we are grateful for it.

This kind of phenomenon is present here too...when the heat becomes scorching and excessive the clouds above help us with a heavy downpour. How nice of nature to act like this!

WE rarely get such hot weather zelmarq and definitely not yet but it is wonderful when you get a wonderfully cooling rain , if even for a few minutes when it gets so hot is it not? I have to admit we get a lot of summer rain - just not usually hot when we get rain but grey and miserable! xxxx

We have what the weathermen are calling tropical weather here in Arkansas, USA this week. It's been hot and humid, even though summer isn't here for more than a month away. Lots of rain and my back is really telling it. The arthritis that comes with rainy humid weather is horrid. Tonight, I am watching a storm make it's way across the northern part of the state. It's getting fairly close to where my daughter is going to college.

I think summer is officially over since a tropical depression is currently headed for our country... i wasn't expecting that... i actually thought we will still bear the heat until June... i don't know if i like that since a lot of our farmers are hoping for the sun to shine again so that they can put their crop under the sun to dry... I welcome the rain... but i am still hoping for that sun to peak out even for just 3 times a week...

Rains indeed are welcomed when it's truly very hot. But I don't like those short rains which only leave more humidity and everything tends to be sticky and stuff. I like those long rains at night to freshen the next day.

Hi, We are experiencing a very hot summer now. Its really very hard to manage. I'm expecting to rain in some day soon. If rains this helps us feel a little cool! Cheers, forcashksd
