Chocolate Chip Oatmeal Cookies... my favorite cookies!!! When I was younger, I'd spend my allowance on these cookies. Sadly, the pastry shop where I used to buy those became commercialized. The cookies no longer have the same taste, as if they were cost cutting with the ingredients. Anyone who knows how to make these stuff? Would really love to bake them, and am willing to try and spend for the ingredients, just as long as they tastes good...yum!!

I'm sure you could either get the recipe on the internet or actually I know that I have seen that recipe on the oatmeal cannister as well. It is kind of a classic recipe. It is one that can be around for a long time. It is so nice to have old favorites that you like.

I've tried a recipe from an oatmeal container, but it wasn't what I expected. Not that much crisp, and all I can taste is the oatmeal. I added chocolate chips on my next attemt, and it's still not it. I know that I really must have patience with this, and might try more, until I find the right measurements. That's why I preferred asking here, to people that have really experienced making one. I believe that each of us has our own techniques, rather that the commercialized cookie recipes. Thanks snowy22315 :-)

Hi. kryzell. I don't even know how to make these type of cookies. I have never had these type of cookies before at all. It would be nice for you to taste them again. I dislike it when bakeries stop baking certain kinds of cookies.
