In this never ending battle of computers,we the scapegoats have to choose between branded computers and assembled computers. I have been using a HP computer for the last few years,3 years to be precise, and I haven't got a problem till now. But many of my friends who have assembled computers have been getting problems from time to time. Which one do you have or prefer?

i prefer assembled over branded ones. i like to do gaming a lot and those branded computers does not fit my needs. there are some but it's too expensive. you won't get any problem with assembled computers as long as everything's is compatible. if you go with high end specs, get a good ventilation.

I love to assemble computer because you could choose the parts that you like. And it is more easy to upgrade. Compare with the branded once. And the assemble computer is much more cheaper compare to those branded computers.

I think we should always go for assembled pc as long as the individual parts are original there shouldnt be any problem. Not only can I build a pc according to my needs but also I get it cheaper. With branded PCs,sooner or later you'll realise that there is gonna be some components that you will never use and some components that you require but you dont have it.So you have to modify even branded PCs later on.So why not do it initially by assembling it?

I prefer to assemblying my own pc. It's much cheaper than a branded one. Also, we can easily customize the specification. The different between assembled pc and branded pc, in my opinion, is on their marketing and promotional. Branded pc is expensive because the vendor give the international warranty and they have spending much money for their promotional purposes. Have a nice day and happy mylotting.

for me it must be assembled, because I can choose the best parts for my PC as long as the budget is concern.

I prefer assembled computers as I have more detailed control of the internal hardware so that I can alter the composition (more ram less CPU) so that it fits my budget. Branded ones, on the other hand, gives you much less flexibility. What's more, later if you want to change some hardware, the branded ones require you to pay them for upgrade or they will void the warranty. Assembled ones? Just upgrade it as you wish. Of course, branded computers offer more support and if it goes down, just give the CS a phone call and it should be fixed. Assembled ones? You are on your own.

I'll always vote for assembled computers. In assembled computers you have the total control over what you put inside your computer. You can have any combination of hardware you want. In the case of branded ones you never get to choose and you wont get the best combination. And they are costly as hell. You even have to pay for the original operating system.... Ive been using an assembled PC over a long while now and i dint get any major hardware problems. Just once i go a broken usb port and thats all

Assembled of course. Branded cheaps out on the motherboard and grafic-cards. Also branded don´t use the best combinations motherboard-processor-graficcard. But the best alternative is bying in parts. Only semitricky thing with bying in parts is mounting heatsink to the processor. And I´m sure u know somebody that has done that before and ask for help with that. Or have your nearest computerstore to du it for you. They will prolly do it for free if bought the parts from there. I can´t imangine the charing more than a few bucks.
