Which sport is healthy?

i would recommend basketball. It could reduce your weight quite fast but not as fast as swimming.Basketball requires running, which will increase your stamina and speed. It also requires jumping quite often, this will increase your vertical jumps, leg muscles and waist strength. While dribbling the balls and defending the person,it will increase your reflexes and your stamina too. While playing matches, you will need to use your mind to think of strategies to trick your opponents and giving your team mates a easy ball. This will exercise your mind. Thus,I strongly recommend basketball if you want to have a healthy sport. So good luck with it. :]

I LOVE swimming The last time I swam was a couple months ago. Before that, it was at least a few years. I do miss it. Basketball sounds like fun - if I wasn't afraid to embarrass myself in front of people, I would love to try it. Thanks for sharing IchigoLover :)

I like to ride bikes with the kids. In the summer we try to go fishing, hiking, canoeing, or swimming. I like to do a lot in the summer it is the winter that I need to do more. But, I don't like the cold. I think I will have to find some place in doors in the winter to do something active and fun. I did play racket ball with my sister once and she laughed so hard at me we could not finish the game. I kept getting hit by the ball. It was after me. I think it had it in for me! lol **Peace and Love get's you through everything in Life**

I hate the cold as well. We bought a wii and play that during the cold months. It's not like the real sport but it's better than sitting there doing nothing at all I guess. Ideally, I like to walk outside and really want to take up roller blading. Roller skating would be even better for me, the more wheels the better the balance -- I'm going to do it somewhere where no one knows me, so if I fall and people laugh, I don't have the added embarrassment of actually knowing them LOL! Thanks for sharing Carpathian :)

I play badminton occasionally which involves eye co ordination and some speed in running in short bursts. Other activities I do is pilates as when I have back pains doing a few stretching exercises and pilates moves helps ease the pain quite well.
