Parties are boring without booze !!!!!

Well that's exactly what my friend said when we recently attended our friends house warming party...... they are very prayerful and don't booze at all......so they said that it is a sin to even distribute alcohol as you are making the other person sin...... So he said that, party turns too boring, as people don't get high and you don't feel like dancing etc......there is a different spirit when you are high, there is so much of energy flowing....well i certainly don't think so...... don't you feel some people get too drunk and then unnecessary fights begin....its also saves some money..... What do you feel ???? is my friend right in what he says ?????
