Did you know that the movie was based on the book [originally released as] Q & A, by Vikas Swarup?
I saw it in my local Library's catalog and I just finished it.
I haven't seen the movie, but I thought the book was superb. It's rich with tragedy and told modestly in first person.

I'm also want to watch the movie but I don't know that it has a book. I'm intrigued why this movie won so many oscars award. Sometimes this kind of movie here in the Philippines is not appreciate by Filipinos I think we are not ready for this kind of movie. For me I like the movie which has a good story to tell. This story is awakening for those who don't experience hardships in life.
