I started this new job today and have come to realize that some people will never change their ways and always be that annoying person that everyone avoids. Take for example this one lady that continually talked about the military life and how it's treated her I know she's served this country and I'm happy she did but how does that make her surperior. We are after all in the same position at this job and will be making the same amount of money. Another guy in there assumes that because I'm one color I'm racist to another. I didn't even say two words to him. I was kind and polite to everyone I met today but I guess ....well I'm not quite sure what to think. Another individual thought I would automatically ask him out. Unfortunately for him I'm taken sorry..;( I'm just amazed to how people act. Do you know of anyone that are the same as these people I've discribed today?

Pretty much everyone I know acts as if they are superior to everyone else for some reason or another. But I also have alot of friends who know that everyone is equal. In my opinion, every human makes assumtions and judges others. It's human nature, it's how we think. But these assumptions and judgements we make towards other people should not affect how we treat them, because it is just an assumption and a judgement of just one person, it is not the truth. So I think it's fine for people to assume and judge, as long as they keep it in their head and do not act upon their assumptions and judgements.

Ya people assume I'm a prude but oh well I don't care really. I just hate that there are still people in the world that are this cruel and unwilling to see what they are really doing to other people and their feelings. I just wish it was different but it's not and it probably never will be.

Oh yes I've run across all kinds of people while working. I have been working of and on for over the last 35 years so it doesn't surprise me anymore how people act or what they might say. I worked with one women that everyday she was blaming whites for something. Finally one day I looked at her and said, "you must have something against white people." When she asked me why I said this, I told her and she never talked about white people all the time after that. All I can say is some people are something else.

some strange people around, just have to let it go; the more you relax, the more things have a way of working themselves out.

These types of people exist everywhere. Unfortunately, everyone has an ego trip at some point. Some people just assume that they're always better than everyone else that they meet for one reason or the other. I'm not sure what causes people to have these attitude problems, but you really can't work around it. The best thing I know that get around it is to really ignore those people. Avoid feeding their egos as much as you can. They'll probably hate you for it, but after all you're there to do a job, not to be the most popular person at work.

The world is a blend of many types of people. Good, bad, caring, indifferent, jolly, irritating, you can make a long list of peope having varied habits. All you have to do is to adjust among them quite nicely. You will be successful if you learn the art of living with all types of people. But with your nice manners, positive, friendly and caring attitude you may find a way where all people will start liking you. Good luck!
