I Make Money Online Through Advertisers That Like My Blogs

I make my money online through blogging mostly. I like to share my experiences and what I know about the hobbies I love so much. The work is not so tough because I love to talk about what I love. But... I also have some blogs that I know nothing about and resort to using free content I get from various content sites around the net. The goal with these blogs is to get advertisers that will pay to have links on my pages. It usually takes up to 3 months to get enough content and backlinks to these blogs before I will start to monetize them but then they start to earn me a little each month which adds that the grand total that is my online living. An example of how well this can work, if you are patient, is one of my travel blogs. I don't use my own content but started the site looking to the future when my wife retires and we start to travel. Well after a few months I added some advertising from Kontera and TextLinkAds and now that blog makes more than $100.00 every month. You may wonder how much time I put into this site. Well I put up one free content article every two days or so. It takes me about 3 minutes and it's done for the next few days. I have multiple blogs like this, which only earn a little each month but the 3 minutes it takes every few days is so worth it. Ten of those sites grew into a lot more and I now get people contacting me. They pay me $10.00 a link and $25.00 a post. BTW: The post they pay for they must also write and they have to be unique. I get paid for unique content I don't even have to write, which gets me lots more attention from Google and other search engines. It all started when I used Mylot earnings to buy my first blogging domain and a hosting account.

Hi Webmann, do you use plr articles and amend a bit to make it unique or do you buy unique content from ghost writers? What is the website that you got your content from? Right now, I have one personal blog which hardly earn anything. It is after all, personal in nature, so I'm not expecting much.

I use PLR all the time but I don't always take the time to modify them like I should. I use AMA ArticleMarketingAutomation.com on my blogs. I can set it up for each blog I have. I can also set it to automatically approve articles and post them. You can even specify that you don't want articles unless they are more than 30% unique. You can also specify how many articles per day you receive. I do not use the automated feature because I like to view the article that will be posted on my sites.

Hi Webmann, thanks for your information. I will look into it. I do not use PLR articles at this moment, however I like to have a reputable site just in case I'm too lazy to write. It is a good idea to use PLR articles and tailor it to make the content unique. Some of the webmasters do pay for the unique contents for use as PLR articles.

The great thing about having a blog, even if you only earn a little, is that it will keep growing and over time that income will grow. I wish you the best.

Firstly well done and secondly thank you for sharing this information. I do have a question as you say it only takes 3 minutes to add a new post which is great but what about all the time you spend in the first 3 months getting back links. How do you go about this, as this is a highly significant point when creating a successful blog. I would also like to know how you get round issues when it comes to non unique content as search engines generally pick up on this and so your page doesn't get indexed?

Wish could follow you. I'm only earning a little now from mylot however my daughter is earning thru her blogs at bloggers and pay per post. I have several blogs at differrent sites but it's not being paid as payment depends on pageviews. I remember I got only five dollars in a year still unpaid as minimum is 25 dollars, but I really don't mind as I enjoy getting along more with online friends. It's more easier earning at mylot. How I wish I would earn thru blogs as well.

That is one thing that really bugged me when I first started and that is high payouts that take months to reach. It's easy to get discouraged and just give up before ever reaching that payout. I like to have blogs about the hobbies I spend money on. It gives me something to write about that I know something about. It's funny but my make money online sites are the ones I make the least amount from. I make most of my money blogging about my hobbies and interests.

I am just starting out on making money through blogging. I have one blog that I have started and am making a couple dollars per month right now. It isnt much, but I know that I can get that to continue to grow. The idea of starting a blog in which you get outside writing and still making money off of it is fascinating to me! What a wonderful way to learn new things and make money! I really like the idea of specializing with a blog. I will have to try that out. I appreciate that you wrote this and shared your experiences with people like me just starting out! Thanks so much!

What has really helped me with earning on my blogs is localizing the blogs. I live in New Brunswick Canada so I try to focus my blogs locally so I get very targeted traffic and I don't have to compete with the really big blogs and web sites. A couple of my sites are: Backyard Gardening in New Brunswick and fly fishing in New Brunswick. That type of things so I get the traffic looking for things in New Brunswick. It works for me.
