Do you feel Laptops are alternatives of desktops?

I prefer to use laptop because i need to travel most of the time. So, laptop is more convenience to me. I found that it's more easier to type from my laptop as the keyboard keys are more easier to use. Besides that, it's also more energy saving than desktop..

I will say that I prefer laptops now, because of the mobility and ease of use. I can use the laptop anywhere, and with the mobile broadband, I can even use the Internet on my laptop anywhere outside the home, as long as there are connections. However, one of the cons is the short battery lifespan of 2 - 3 hours. You will need to bring the charger out if you need to use the laptop longer than that. Even so, you also need to find places where they have socket plug for you to charge your laptops...

I dont feel laptops are a full alternatives of desktop.I have two computers in my house,a desktop and a laptop pc.Using desktop computer is more comfortable for me.In my office i always use laptop pc. .

I would have to say that I enjoy both equally. I prefer laptop, when I am at school, because I have the freedom to use it anywhere, even in class where there might not be any computers. But when I am at home, I prefer the desktop because it have large amounts of memory and great specs for game playing or movie watching.
