Do you prefer to start a discussion or respond to one?

i was just wondering, do u prefer to think of an interesting topic and start a brand new discussion or do you prefer to just respond to other people's discussion.. starting a new discussion requires alot of thinking as nobody will respond to a boring discussion.. for me, i tend to prefer to respond to discussion more than to start a discussion because it is easier... what about you?

I like both, but for different reasons. I like to start them if I have a question about something in my life so I can get other people's perspectives, but I like reading what every one else posts and being able to share my opinions. A majority of the time I respond.

hihi... i also like to able to voice out my own opinion and share it with others...and also see how others respond...actually it doesnt really matter whether it is starting discussion or responding to one..both enable us to view others opinions..

Hello flowerday, I prefer to respond rather than to start my own discussion. I feel it is easier to respond rather than thinking what kind of topic you want to start here. I don't like heavy discussions and most of the time, I will start a discussion about daily things that happen in my life. I don't have much time to spend here too and whenever I could, I just respond to as many as I could.

I also prefer to respond to a discussion than to start a discussion.I dont know whether the topic I raise about may or may not be intersting. Moreover I feel comfortable going into the discussion already started .My discussion topic may not interest everyone also .So I would like to respond rather than start.

I rather start a discussion that i like rather reply to those non interested topic with nothing to gain but self explanatory ideas. There too many junk stuff here in mylot that must not be here to example few theirs a topic says "im going to game" doesnt make sense at all to reply. But got question to all of you, how can you start a discussion here, i got clueless this pass few days figuring out how to start discussion here.

it's easier for me to respond to a discussion since im not online most of the time. coz when i start my own discussion, i want to monitor it as much as possible, which is impossible for me to do because of my limited time on using internet. and another reason would be, as you had also said, it is hard to come up with an idea that is interesting. chances are, they won't even have a second look at my own discussions because of boring ideas i have.:)

hihi... it is really quite hard to think of an interesting topic to start a discussion..because no one ever knows what kind of topic will be interested in..some topics that u feel may be interesting, ends up with no replies..

Hi, my friend .last week,Congress President Obama's budget it's a budget that works for ordinary Americans, and it's all thanks to people like you. Mebers of the people like you organizing for america and the world spoke up and asked congress to lay a new foundation for american growth by passing a budget that invests in energy ,health care , and education- and that's eaxctly what they did.But as the President said on his hundredth's day in office, we should be pleased with our gongress so far, but not satisfied. There is so much mor work to do, and to get it done we need to keep growing this movement. thank my friend 's message and share your story and all best to you. greeting from china,s friend.

hai flowrday I often respond to the discussion, I will make the discussion if there is something I would like to discuss. thinking to find the discussion quite difficult. respond to the discussion easier for me. if you have poured the materials for discussion only. problems such as your day-to-day, or have things that you can not understand. so you will make the discussion more easily. I also make a discussion based on my problem. if it does not have to be discussed, I'm not forcing myself to make the discussion. I often respond to a discussion of the notification in my email.

hihi... it is really quite disappointing when there is no reply for the discussion that you had spent so much time and effort thinking about.. but on the other hand, it is satisfying when you see replies for your discussion =)

I haven't had much time to start too many discussions as of yet. I'm sure I can come up with many interesting things to talk about. But with working full time and having to clean a decent-sized house by myself on the weekends, and running to the grocery store and doing almost all of the cooking for me and my husband, I have little time to myself to just sit, relax, and type!

hihi...you seems to have a busy and packed lifestyle, hence it can really be quite hard to spare time on thinking of discussions... but nevermind, you can still enjoy mylotting by responding to discussions =)

most of the time i just respond to other discussions. i only make my own topic when i have a question that i thought of during the day. it is easier to just respond to start your own.

hihi... yep i agree that it is easier to respond than to start your own.. because if the disucssion started is not interesting enough and no one replies, it will be very disappointing..

I don't know really. I enjoy doing both but I reply to discussions a lot more than starting them. When I do start them, I usually get no more than five replies it seems. A few have gotten a little more and a very few have gotten over fifteen replies.

hihi...like you, i also enjoy both replying to discussion and starting a new one... because ultimately, the main purpose in mylot is more about sharing personal opinion and it doesnt really matter whether u start it anot.. sometimes my discussion has no reply at all, so do not feel demoralised!

I have only started a few discussions. I usually respond to them more. It is easier for me just to go through and respond to the discussions that i can add something to.

hihi...yeah i agree with you that it is much easier and more simple to just go through the available disucussions and respond to them.. but it is not always that there will be available discussion that i am able to respond to..hence sometimes it is actually even more easy to start a discussion...

Actually, i prefer to start a discussion, when i got more free time to online. Because i like to see people's opinion about certain discussion that i had created. But, when i am too busy and don't have much time to online, i will go for responding to other members discussion. As what you had said, it's more easier to respond than creating discussion..

hihi...yeah i agree with you that it is nice to see people's opinion with regards to the discussion you have started... although it is true that responding to other people's discussion is less time-consuming, sometimes when there isnt any discussion that you are able to respond to, it will actually be easier to start yur own discussion.

I prefer to respond to discussion. If I have to start a discussion it has to be a really different one because I don't like seeing all the same discussions all over the place. Otherwise, it's nice to answer to people.

I prefer to respond than make a discussion. I'm afraid to make one especially if I couldn't check the discussions available. Making a new discussion will put you into criticisms and a lot of opinions. I'm having fun in replying. I'm also planning to do some tasks. I think, that would be enough for me to reach my min payout.

hihi...dont be too afraid to start a new discussion...the mylotters here are all very nice and we will be willing to respond to your discussion... yep completing task is a good way to earn too.! happy mylotting!
