I am a catholic and I am trying and will keep try my level best to follow all the ten commandments! Humans have weakness and somtimes we do sin, but all those times I go to preiest and have confession. It is easy to follow the ten commandments, but it is hard to follow the extra 5 commandments by church which includes. Attend holy mass every Sunday. Give 105 of your income to church. etc

Well, of course I try to follow them. I'm just not always successful. Everyone sins. That's why I pray! =)

In one word, no! The Ten Commandments are the cornerstone of the Jewish religion and later day Christianity adopted them but then proceeded to ignore the additional commandments that are also important in Judaism. Why ignore the rest? If Christianity were to insets that all the Jewish laws be observed it would become imposable to win converts so Paul, in his wisdom, decided that it was a good idea to ignore them. My problem with the Ten Commandments lies with the first four which have no relevance to me since I am neither Christian or Jewish. The remaining ones are almost universally codified into common law in most of the worlds cultures and represent social constants, not religious principles. Will I go to heaven? This is a silly question to me since I do not believe in that imaginary place which is again a feature of the Christian, Jewish and Islamic faiths but has no meaning to those of us who to not follow those particular superstitions.

Yes, I always follow the Ten Commandments. I am just guilty at times with the third commandment, that is to attend mass on Sunday and other days of obligation. But Just the same I honestly practice the rest of the commandments.

You mean the Sabbath Day? Did you know that Sunday is not really the real Sabbath Day!?! It's actually Saturday. The Roman Catholic changed it. Watch this video for more information: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qv0W1HgwmSs And oh yeah, you don't have to feel guilty about not going to mass every Sunday. I don't remember any verse from the Bible which states that you should go to church when this day falls. You can remember Sabbath Days in a lot of ways, not just going to church. "Keeping it holy" may mean something like rest, reflect, live the rest of your life in a good way.
