Just a Question Regarding Paypal

Just a short question:
I have an unverified Paypal account. My question is, will I be able to transfer my money TO A linked bank account even when my paypal account is unverified? Or do I need to have it verified before I can transfer money to my bank account? I need help please :) thanks in advance!

HI, you need to verify your Paypal account before you transfer the money... otherwise, it won't work. better to do this before you hit transfer, ok? wish you good luck and hope you will find the solution soon

I see.. so i won't be able to transfer the money without having my paypal verified first.. how sad :( thanks for your reply ha. you took away my doubts :)

Thank you for rating me as A best respond. did you find the solution? Paypal always do this cuz they want to make sure that your money is still your money.

Because of what you told me, I know the solution now but unfortunately, I won't be able to verify my paypal account yet 'cos my father won't let me borrow his credit card. That's my only problem, the credit card.

You have to link it to a bank account before you can verify your account. The way they verify it is to transfer 2 small amounts to your bank account. When that money is in your account, you have to report back to them with those 2 amounts. If the two amounts that you report back match, you will be verified.

This is from the Paypal website:
How do I become verified?
You must:
1. Confirm your e-mail address.
2. Add a credit card or debit card to your account.
3. Link and confirm your card.
This is also what I did when I got my verified status. When you link either a debit or credit card, they will charge a minimum amount to your debit or credit card. There will be a 4 digit code on your bill statement when the bill comes. Go to the paypal website to enter the 4 digit code to confirm your card, and you are verified. The minimum amount which they charge on your card will be debited to your paypal account in around 24 hours (or at most 48 hours).

Thank you for the response gcorp09.
But unfortunately, I won't be able to verify my Paypal account for now because my father won't let me borrow his debit/credit card. That's my only problem.
