I am currently weighing 85 kls. I am only 21 and I badly want to lose weight as in I want to start it NOW! I dont know how to do it. My mom kept on saying that I have become huge and all that. My dad said I'm fat. And my boyfriend said that I should lose it. The best thing that I did last month was not to eat rice. It's not that easy plus it doesn't make any sense. what should I do?

Don't give up so easily. You need a source of motivation to help you stay fit. Get into a Gym where there will be personal trainers to motivate and encourage you. OR You could do the following: Someone commented to one of my discussions stating that if you eat a big breakfast, medium lunch, small dinner, would help you stay in great shape, and my personal addition would be, a brisk walk for an hour would do you good.

Oh that rule.. BREAKFAST- eat like a queen LUNCH- eat like a princess Dinner-eat like a pauper Ilike the sound of it. But do you think it's gonna work?

Give it trial period of a month. I guarantee you that it will work wonders. Let me know after a month if it worked or not. I'll be waiting...

I think that's kind of rude of your family, but honestly it reminds me of my family when I had gained a lot of weight. I can't seem to lose weight now, but when I was quite a bit younger I did manage to lose 40 pounds. I enrolled in a weight training class. And I also stopped eating eggs and dairy. I still ate rice, I'm not one of those people who is into the low carb diet fad. That is just unhealthy. I already didn't eat meat back then, so I don't know if that made a difference. But I think honestly the biggest difference was the eggs and dairy. And of course the physical activity of lifting weights, running with the football team, etc. To this day I still eat healthy, but I don't have access to weights anymore to work out with.
