Are you a single Father?
So many times when we hear the term "Single Parent", we think of Single Mothers. Little do we know that "Single Fathers" do exist and face everyday challenges to raise thier children just as much as Single Moms do. If you are a Father who is struggling to raise your kids or know of someone who is, please share your story. Or if you are a Single Father who probably isn't struglling much but face your normal day to day challenges with kids/teenagers, please share your story.
This person could be you, your father, your uncle, your grandfather, your step-brother, your cousin, a friend....ABSOLUTELY ANYONE you feel that needs to be acknowledged.... ~Share your story here~
I would LOVE the world to know who these men are.

I am a single dad of 3 kids and yeah I know what you mean most people dont expect a single dad.
I say to people that I am a single dad and they say what days do you look after them really boils my blood I look after my kids 7 days a week lol.
Not to mention baby changes facilities are usually in the womens toilets tho some companies are getting better with seperate unisex baby changing.
I once went to a shopping centre and the baby change was in the womens toilets so I thought sod it and went in the womens lol, the women in the toilets were quite supportive untill I got frog marched out by two lady security guards. Anyhow cut a long story short I threatened to take the shopping center to court over sexism and they backed down and now have seperate baby change facilities.
Tho in answer to your question it really annoys me when people assume single parents are female, equality and all plus its the 21 st century single parents are both sexes.
Incidentally my eldest is 5 y/o and my two daughters are 2.6 years and 6 months old.

I am one to give credit where credit is due and you have my support.
Your kids are pretty young and you seem to have a good head on your shoulders which is fantastic!
I wish alot of other men/women had common sense when it involves their kids.
My father was never really around when I needed him so as I was growing up, I always admired seeing fathers with their kids. I still do to this day.
Raising children takes time, love, dedication, and patience.
Thank you for your post!

I dated a man that was a single Father! I have so much admiration for him when we were dating he had a teenage daughter! and son! I had a pre-teen son...I felt he helped me son with the male aspect and I help his daughter through the female questions for not knowing what he was doing or always worrying he did the right thing he did a wonderful job now his kids are grown up and moved out well his son has special needs and is being helped by him and SS!

It's obvious I don't know the man you dated but based on your response, he really does sound like a good father...Always worrying about his kids...No matter how hard I try, to some degree I worry. Somedays are better than others. Some days are hell for me. But i guess it comes with the territory. We just love our kids and don't want them to repeat the same mistakes we made. Sometimes we just need to back off. Congratulations to him!!
