Do you always worry about how other people think of you?

In the past, I always worry about how people think of me? My tastes of cars, the person I like; the education I have; the job I apply for; etc...... At the end, I just do what I have to please other people. Is it worth it? I consider about this question for while, not worth it. Who gonna please me at the end? I rather do what I have to do the best, and love what I am doing. It is me, my life. I pick where I have to go. Not base on the eyes of other people, how they gonna look at me? I just have to make myself happy, that is all.

I used to, but now I don't really care, life is too short to worry about what others may or may not think about you, at the end of the day you cannot please everyone! You have to be yourself, and if people don't like you or what you do then it is clearly their problem not yours! What right have others to dictate what you should and shouldn't do or who you are. We are the masters of our own destiny, we choose to live life the way we want to, we have our own rules, we live by them, not by others. Those that frown upon us or think less of us are not worth knowing and are inconsequential and shallow. Those that accept us for who we are are real people and true friends.
