Sign in Name

Do you use the same sign in name for every account that you sign up for? All my accounts have variations of the one here for mylot - moonchild1au, moonchild1_au or jut plain moonchild1. How about you? if not, how do you keep track of your name for every site? Sometimes I forget which variation I have used for which account :)

I don't use variations that much. I actually use a lot of internet aliases. Gloamglozer is just one of them, I use at least 5 others. I just get to remember what login name I use for each site as long as I use it once in a while. It's not that hard to remember one name for one site really...

I guess it wouldn't be but for me, it would confuse me as I get confused as to which variation is on a website for me.

Yeah, I think it can get quite confusing when you have different passwords or a combination of different passwords for each username. That's what happens to me when I don't remember which password I signed up with.

I use the same two sign-ins for just about everything. For sites where I want to remain anonymous, I use danishcanadian, and for sites where I want people to know who I am, I use my own name in the form of firstname_lastname just like that. My e-mail address goes along that form, and the domain is in Denmark.

I can understand that...I guess I use the same login name everywhere or variations so people know who I am.

No, I don't. As it is I've only used this one on one other site, I think. I don't always remember them all, but for the more important ones I write them down so that I don't forget them.

yes ,i use the same name in every account when i need to sign up .because i worry that i will forget my username in future!
