Last Saturday, we had our high school batch reunion. I was one of the emcees. I also hosted the parlor games as well as the audio visual presentation. Then yesterday we had another party because one of my closest friends is going back to Florida, U.S.A. We had so much fun. I talked a lot. I noticed that my voice is getting worse. Right now, I have hart time talking. I need to write what I want to say. I lost my voice. I believe the series of events is the cause of this problem. I need to solution. I don't know what to do. I hope you can help me. Please spare me your knowledge about this one. Thanks a lot in advance.

Hi there yonkie. Maybe you are stressing your voice too much. We have to handle our voice well and know our limits in terms of pitch and tone. I think your vocal chords are stressed because of those events. You just have to let your voice rest. A 1 day of no talking greatly helps trust me. Also, drinking warm water with honey helps to moisturize your vocal chords so that if you talk, the air goes out smoothly and will not stress your voice. In those kind of events, you must warm up your voice so that it will not deteriorate in the long run. Be sure not to drink cold drinks after stressing your voice and let it be a habit to drink warm water and honey before stressing and after stressing your voice. I hope I helped you yonkie. :)

Oh, that is not fun at all losing your voice. I have experienced that too after all the fun and hype of reunions then hoarse voice the morning after. WHAT i DID WAS gargle with saline solution, or drink freshly squeezed orange juice (no water) with a tablespoon of honey. Or if you like use ginger like a candy.
