I am sorry you have lost your job, so many people have lost jobs here, it can be discouraging. What kind of job did you do? Are their other companies in your area where you could may could find a similar job to what you were doing? Or maybe you could relocate? Or can you maybe start your own business. Depending on your personality and skills there might be a good number of home businesses you could start. Some things that would be low to no cost start up, would be tutoring (and subject you excel at, the student buys and extra materials like books, papers etc) light house keeping (you may be able to use the clients own tools,) some kind of arts and crafts if you have the skills and materials already. anything from drawing sketches of people or landscapes or whatever to making quilt tops to making braided rugs out of old scrap cloth... the possiblilities in this area is endless. you might could write books, there is at least one site I know of that will print out the books you write and ship them as people order them, it is lulu.com I only recently learned about this site. Try to not be discouraged, and just work on doing the best you can,.if you are using your own computer then you may can use your computer to start up your own business, maybe you could write resume's for other people or something. Yes,it is quite hard to get a new one even you have exprence one that field.Because there are too many people in shanghai with ability and experence and education background and it's very competitive.
