. Helping others

I always find myself in a situation where people who need help will always come around me and funny enough most of these guys never look back after I have helped them and things are right with them. It s not as if I expected anything in return for whatever help I render to people but my pain is that, when I need help this same same people have never bothered to even help and it gets difficult for me to see someone to help, its making me to think something is wrong with me, anyone ever found themselves in this same situation?

There's nothing wrong with you my friend... it's them! They're selfish people who assume that because you're so kind, you won't worry about helping them out, but when it comes to it, they're not willing to give any of their precious time up for you. You're fine... there's nothing wrong with giving and not getting back, but maybe you should select only to help a person once who doesn't give you a second though when you're down on your uppers.

you are very right my brother but one thing i am considering is that therec are times when you do selctive helping and you still end up helping the wrong people dont you think so?

Well, yes, everybody makes mistakes. We have to put those mistakes down to experience and know another time, that this particular person is a sorry case. I don't worry about one mistake, but I don't keep repeating them. I think you get wise eventually.
