Getting all of your earnings?

I just saw how much my earnings were for yesterday. I earned $0.61. Not bad for a new user! I am confused, though. I know that I posted about 40 times in various discussions. Isnt each post supposed to be $0.02? I also had several responses to discussions that I started. That should all add up to more than $0.61. Do your posts sometimes take more than a day to be credited? How do you know which of your posts will be credited and which wont be credited?
