I need to let my feelings out to let go and move on!

I know I'm a strong person and can make it through anything lifes events in the past couple of years have prooven that for me but now that I found the strong me again the stubborn me won't let out the tears lol! I need a good cry and I don't understand why I can't maybe because I'm all cried out...Or it's not getting to me as much as I think it is...Or I'm trying to hold strong for my kids....Any suggestions of how I can have a good cry?

Not sure if you can cry if there's a "lock" on that expression of emotion, but have you tried writing the "letter never to send"? You bash out all your anger, feelings, frustration, pain etc. into the letter - if it's directed at a particular person, you say everything you feel about them in that letter, but....you never send it. You keep it for as long as you need to, usually until you're ready to move on and the emotions are healed, then destroy it. If it's on paper, tear it into little bits or burn it, and if it's typed into a Word document on your computer, just delete it. I've personally found it's more therapeutic to print it off and either tear it up or burn it as it requires more energy than just deleting a document from the computer, and it's part of the closure process. If you type out all your deepest feelings, the crying bit then might happen as you're typing it? Just a suggestion - it's worked for me lots of times, but if you're typing negative things about another person, it's very important to definitely not under any circumstances, let them see what you've said, as that can hinder your own healing process.

I have tried that only one I never thought of doing it for to help with my letting it all out thanks so much I will have to give it a try!
