Arlen Specter is a scumbag! He's using Jack Kemp's DEATH to further his agenda!

I don't know if I've ever been more disgusted with a politician in this country than I am right now. Jack Kemp died on Saturday. Before his body is even cold Arlen Specter was all over it. He's blaming the GOP for Kemp's death saying they didn't focus enough on the fight against cancer. It's taking a lot of self control not to fill this post with profanities about what waste of human flesh Specter is, but that's only because I don't want this thread deleted.
I have never seen any senator so eager to use the death of a colleague like this. It's as though he was just waiting for a senator to die of cancer so he could use it. I'll bet he had that speech prepared well in advance. Anything to win reelection right Arlen? Gotta strike while the corpse is warm!

Politicans just seem to think people are stupid and will believe what ever they tell us. Some, like Specter, are worse than others.

Perhaps, in his last will and testement, he'll be critical of private health care for letting him die and not live forever. Then he could end this testement with a last pitch for government run universal health care.

This guy is a poster child for term limits. He also needs to be checked by doctors to see if he has alzheimer's. He is 79 years old, after all...

Spector's statement is nonsensical.
Cancer, among many other diseases and conditions is something that universal healthcare would not cover as being to expensive to justify. They are planning to ration healthcare, and unfortunately cancer would be something not worth treating.
Spector is a liar and a hypocrite.

Wow, what an opportunistic heartless SOB! And last time I checked, isn't it DOCTORS AND SCIENTISTS and not politicians who are the ones actively trying to find better ways to treat cancer?

The jerk is complaining that if republicans had put more money into cancer research than Jack Kemp would still be alive. The fact is that in 2008 the National Cancer Institute had a $4.8 billion budget.
