love trouble.....

So i have been liking this one girl for a time now. And then i told her what i felt about her and she said she liked me a lot but she was seeing someone else, so i accepted that. But i just can't forget about her! We spend a lot of time together and we have a really good relationship, and it sometimes still feels like we could be a little more than just friends. So, recently i was talking to her and i mentioned that sometimes i feel very sad because of love etc. And then she asked me if it was because of her, and i lied and said no because i didn't want her to to bother. I also didn't want to end my friendship with her. I still don't know if she asked because she have reconsidered, as i have understood it she is not seeing this guy she dated before anymore. And people around us say things like " you really fit well together", and "what's going on between you two". So, what should i do? Should i talk to her about what i am feeling right now, and risk the humiliation again? She was very clear last time that it was my decision if i wanted to keep hanging out with her, or if i wanted her to leave me alone. Is that it? Should i just stop spending time with her?

Hmm, I agree that most of the time, when we have feeling on our friend, we are so afraid that if we move further, it will ruin all the relationship we have built. After reading your story, I think what you can do is to have a break for a while, let's say 1 month. See what you guys feel during the break. I think the break will reveal the true feeling within you because you know, when we are together we don't realize the importance of that person, but when we lost him/her, we would realize it. After the break, try to share. If she thinks that she fell some "lost", she is in love with you too. I think that is the best time to give the shot. Happy trying..
