Hi laurenwhithnall, I wouldn't really know the difference between an American cereal and a British cereeal well enough to comment, but I do know that shredded wheat was a cereal I much enjoyed in England which is not available here in Greece but whether or not it is or has ever been available in America I remain totally clueless about.

I've seen Reese's and Hershey's Products on sale in Supermarkets here now,and up til a while ago the only way I could get Starbucks coffee was bringing them back from a visit to the US,and "Betty Crocker" cake mixes are available here..if there's a demand or a market for a product on the Shelves,a parent company or importer will find a way to get the product in..Asda in the UK is now a subsidiary of Wal-Mart..I wouldn't call myself a fan of "Lucky Charms",though I've tried them and other US only cereals when visiting..I think We've quite a good range of cereals here already, but you never know..Watch this space!

I live in the US, so I have access to all of the American cereals that I want! However, I do have a German friend. She lived with us for a year as an exchange student. She absolutely fell in love with Lucky Charms! She always complains about not being able to get them in Germany. Whenever I send her a package or visit her, I always make sure there are Lucky Charms involved. I think American cereals would do really well in the UK and Europe. Many people would be happy to buy them and eat them. It would also be good for the American companies because they could make more money. I dont understand why they arent selling those cereals in other countries!
