just curious ....which do you prefer... shoes or barefoot?

Summer is coming up and alot of us will be switching from our tennis shoes or boots to flip flops or sandals.... so it got me thinking
I have seen alot of people walking in sandals or barefeet... and I was curious, which one do you prefer to walk around in?? do you go for the style of a flip flop/sandal or would you prefer the freedom of going barefoot? 
this question is really just for the fun of it!!!!

I prefer sandals or flip flops to going barefooted. I'm tenderfooted and can't stand going barefooted outside. Also, my feet need some air because I'm prone to get fungus infections, especially under my toenails.
I ride horseback a lot in the summer and I need to wear boots in that case. The heel of the boot keeps your foot from getting hung in the stirrup.

your welcome for the BR but so sorry to hear about your horse and dog... that had to be a very bad summer, but it is great you will getting another horse that will be broken in (maybe ) good luck with that...

When I'm out and about I'm almost always wearing shoes. The only time I don't is if I'm at a pool or if I step outside on our patio/porch area. Otherwise I prefer shoes. In the summertime I enjoy wearing flip flops. So basically shoes but as little coverage as possible. I don't want a hot foot! haha

I prefer wearing shoes, even on summer. Running in sandals is not very comfortable and I love to run. Even when I'm doing simple daily tasks like going to the market I always end up running at some point lol

When I go out, I wear sandals and flip-flops, but around the house, I'm barefoot all the way. :D

i go barefooted all time at home when i do wear shoes and come home i take my shoes off at the door.i have always loved going barefoot.i do wear sandles to but no flipflops they hurt in between my toes.

oh yeah, I have had a pair or two of flip flops I couldnt wear because they hurt between the toes too!!! 
but I have a few clothe ones and they are wonderful. thanks for the response.

I prefer to be barefoot. I will wear flip flops or sandals when going out, but when I'm home and outside...I'm barefoot. I've always been that way.
