Here in my country, rice is the most important part of the meal. I dont know in some other countries whether they eat rice or not. I always have rice in every meal that I have. It is good too because it has high content of energy. You always have rice in your meal?

Yes, there's always rice on the meal. It's always been a part of the meal whether lunch or dinner. It's something we can't live without. It's a lot cheaper too so i guess it just fit on the daily living of Filipinos. Filipinos cook pretty well so it would be such a waste if we can't eat them with rice right? I do think it's a very important part of the diet even for the ones on diet because it gives enough carbo to keep us going.

Yes, I believe that I have rice on my every meal, except sometimes I ate out with my friends. We might pick Italian, French, or Other cultural cuisines. They taste pretty nice too. I don't really have to have rice every meal after all.

Rice is the staple food in my country too. We usually take rice and various curries for lunch. For breakfast we take rice in different forms..eg we make rice cakes with rice flour or prepare rice noodles..

I'm Filipino so I can't live without eating rice. It is a staple food for of us here in the Philippines. Although the price of rice is here high because of the shortage of it last year. I still prefer to eat it than bread because I'm not satisfied and I'm easily gets hungry.

Hi, sweetjoann22. Here in the Philippines, rice is the basic food here. Rice is the primary source of energy required by a person. Of course rice must have its partner- the viand and/or soup that gives flavor to the rice. Imagine eating rice alone I enjoy eating rice alone only when it is fried. That was delicious. This is my response, happy mylotting and have a nice day!

Same as my country too, we eat rice every day. If I don't eat rice that day, I will get hungry easily. So for every my working day I eat rice, when come to my off day, I will choose noodles or porridge.

Hi Sweetjoann22!! I am from eastern part of India. And over here rice is the main staple food. I love rice and sometimes we make fried rice or rice with veggies in it, or just cumin, sometimes ginger garlic flavoured one. I really love rice dishes.. But to much rice intake can led to obesity or unnecessary gaining weight which should be controlled properly. Thats why its better to take rice once in a day.

99% of the time, yes. Like you I am a Filipino and rice is almost always never absent on the dining table. ALthough some pasta and noodles can be satisfying, it's never half as good as rice.

I am from South America and rice is one of the posibilities of eating carbohidrates we have. I eat bread (wheat), rice, pasta (wheat again), potatoes and corn. I try to change them every day so I donĀ“t get tired of one. I also eat legumes as a way of getting energy food (beans, lentils and garbanzo beans). My meals are usually some meat, fish or cooked veggies of some sort with rice or potatoes on the side. Or I can make pasta with any kind of sauce. Or a corn pudding. In winter I like to make more legumes. Bread is part of my breakfast usually. I eat bread with butter and cheese, ham or jam.
