Okay, I don't have any computer at my house anymore so I am forced to do my part time on-line in the office and in the internet cafe. I am very eager to tell my story as well as my opinions here in mylot. It's just that a lot of eyes is also reading what I write and it really annoys me. Can I have my little privacy although the place for public use. I'm paying and I want all those twits get out of my own way and stop reading what I write and stop looking at my monitor! *** Sorry, I just couldn't help to be so upset. I know I don't have the rights to act this way but I hope they can just give me a little privacy. How about you, have your experienced this thing while using public computers?

Nice for you. I think it depends on the internet cafe or the place where you are using the internet. I had found a place near in my place and it's superb. I mean, the crown is better. They respect my privacy.

sometimes i need my computer to get maintenance so i will go to the library..they have privacy screens where no one can see unless u r sitting directly in front of it. u should recommend those to the places u go to for privacy reasons.

well, i had the experience of using public computers when i shifted home, so the computer wasn't set up early on. didn't have the same kind of people like the ones around you though. the computers were set up in cabins so a passerby cannot take a glance.

I too want people to respect my privacy. But fortunately I have not been through an incident such as yours. It is annoying when people look over your shoulders. I can't tolerate such behavior. I try to use my own PC, even if the net doesn't work, I try to wait, patiently, till the internet providers fixes the problem. But as in your case, where you don't have a PC at home, can prove as a real handicap. I just can't imagine myself in your condition, cause I'm addicted to the PC and the net. Without them I feel extremely odd.
