I live in GA and it can be so very hot in the summer. I love all of the summer activities, the beach, pool, shorts! After the long (yes mild) winter, I am always ready to get outside and enjoy spring and summer. It is great here right now, 60 mornings and high of 79, awesome! I really dread the real GA summer though; it can be unbearable. The humidity can raise the temp 15+ degrees and 100 is very common in late June on until end of August. We do have occasional breaks, but it mostly is too hot to be outside at all. Not to mention the electic bill from all that cool, wonderful air. Overall, it is a fun season, just trying to go outside a lot right now and enjoy the breeze while it last:)

I live in a tropical island in the south. It is very hot and sticky in the summer. The highest temperature can raise to some 40 degrees centigrade. I enjoy the sunshine at the beach in the summer. As a pity, I cannot swim. My plan in this summer is to learn swimming. Hope that I can swim in the sea one day. Actually, I cannot tell which season i like most. Every season has its wonderful charm. The newborn trees and flowers in the spring, the great sunshine in the summer, the fantastic fallen leaves in the fall, the charming snow in the winter are the most beautiful scenes in our life.

It would be a good idea to learn to swim. You never know when you might be in a situation where swimming could save your life. Every child should take swimming lessons for their own safety. I have a pool and if we have company I won't let a child near the pool if they don't know how to swim. Those floaties are a waste and give the child a false sense of security. Teach them to swim properly. Take swimming lessons at the local Y or sometimes colleges offer swimming lessons. It will be worth it.

I'm in the next state up - Tennessee. Same weather conditions basically. I'm a summer person - that's why I live here. If I enjoyed snow and cold I would have stayed up north. The winter before we moved south our final snow storm was on New Year's Eve and we got 31 inches...that I can live without 4-ever!! Give me sunshine, mild winters and pool season from May through Ocotber and I'm happy. Today we are having a new a/c system installed - a/c guy says I'll be able to hang meat in here....I enjoy outside as long as I know I have nice cold inside to go to!! This a/cis energy rated, so it will be cheaper to run than the last one.

I was born in july but I really hate the warmer months. I wish I lived somewhere that snowed all the time. It's like once it gets hot, I just think of the sweating and the fact that I'll be forced to deal with it for three whole months and each month is hotter than the next..Here in jersey, all there is to look forward to are blackouts and possibly water shortages so I just stay inside under the air conditioner until the sun goes down..

I sometimes like summer and sometimes I don't. In my country, there are only two seasons. One is rainy and the other is sunny. Sometimes I like summer because summer is always associated with fun fun fun. Summer is for relaxation. Not to mention, during summer, swimming is almost a must and I absolutely love swimming. The only thing I don't really like about summer is the sweltering heat which can sometimes be unbearable. To add, our electric bills are always higher when it is summer because we always turn on the air conditioner at our house.

I live in a tropical country... so i get to experience only two seasons... the wet and dry... the former being rainy... and the latter summer... but between the two... i prefer the wet season... because it doesn't get too hot... i tend to sweat a lot so the cool weather is the best one for me... I would surely want to experience winter or autumn someday...

well for me i can survive in any temperature what u need is correct survival training and the will to bear hard things specially harsh conditions. I live in a tropical country and im habitual of heat. it is very boring in summers for me because all my friends go somewhere or other place. for me i love summers more than i love winters because in summer my skin doesn't gets dried up. i also go to pool and its a time to enjoy because there is so much free time in summers as i get a vacation in summers.

Originally from Bangalore, India, I recently moved to Milwaukee, Wisconsin following my wedding in October of 2008. Arriving at the end of Fall, I did not get a chance to see the beauty of Wisconsin as most of the trees had already shed their leaves and the ground was dry. Having stayed indoors primarily during the winter months, I have learned to develop a great appreciation for the summer. Little did I know about the plants and trees around me and how good they actually looked. It was only last month, for the first time, I happened to see leaves in the trees and colored buds in the plants which took my breath away completely. I was awe struck. Seeing the place green, gave me strength and reinforcement that there is actually life around where I live. There are moms pushing strollers, people jogging along the sidewalk and the waft of barbecue in the air. With the sun setting late in the evenings, the days seem to be longer than usual giving more time for outdoor sports activities and hanging out with friends in the park. I hope summer extends into fall giving me more time to have fun and enjoyment.

Oh man, I cannot wait until summer! Summer puts me in a great mood, even though I am all sweaty and burnt! It makes me feel like a kid again. Summertime is the only time I will actually drink all night and stay out and not worry about sleep.

summer is my favorite season! I can't wait until it's here. Actually this summer my fiancee and I are getting married - so I'm super excited about summer getting here this year. I live in PA, so summers here aren't usually that hot and humid. We have those occasional days, but it's not constant all summer. I love visiting the south though, in the summer. I love going to the beach in South Carolina. Summer rocks. Can't wait until it's here :-)

I am also a summer person. I don't hate my skin to get dark and get those sunburns at all. I love playing at the beach and do some summer activities. The fashions are also very colorful and spunky. I love doing my nails in summer and it seems that you are very free to do anything you wanted in your life. You can do stuffs that you are craving since then. You can take much rest if you want, and even earn more friends. Summer is really fun XD
