In India there are countless news channels both national and local and in Hindi, english and countless local languages and when ever there is even a small thing all blow things out of proportions. Like if there is an accident in Delhi road with couple of casulties they would make Delhi road totally unsafe and would show blood all over the accident victim and on road.. they would play this story whole day and would get lots and lots of so called planners who never got a chance to plan anything, and would create a sense of terror or classic case come in mind if of Prince a poor child who fell in to ditch and though army had to call to get him out, on all channels it was only Prince for next 3 days and there was no other news. I think it has to do something with each channel trying to Break news and get one up on another.

And I thought ours was bad. It seems humans are the same no matter where you are. They love to listen to human suffering. But we only have 4 or 5 channels of news that do this.

That's true. Each news Chanel in competition try to do this. But, while doing this they forget their morals, ethics and their importance. The basic problem with our media persons, reporters, etc is that no one has honour about the nation. Every one runs after money.

in my country, the news is done in 3 different languages in all the news station so they would basically be reporting the same thing in another language more or less and different pictures of course but most of us speak all 3 of those languages so we can watch any of them really.

You know how news channels behave in India. They would always tell all the people that they are unethical and cheats and what not but they would go to any depths for a scoop. They would dine and whine with politicians and would be on their payroll to write what they want and when something happens which is not even worth reporting in national TV they would all of them scream hard and would keep doing it again and again and even if a heroine says some harsh words to a spot boy or makeup man they would report it on prime time whole week.
