People will visit sites like Ebay and a lot of times get fooled or scamed, and will not support people on mylot, some people on mylot has websites and products on sale, and when they ask any one to visit their sites or buy their products' the respond is always that they are spaming people and it's a scam. But a lot of people get spamed a scamed on ebay and don't even know it or even if they know they just keep it to themselves. I don't think any thing is wrong if someone ask me or anyone to visit their sites or purchase anything they are selling, it's not everything on a site is spaming or scaming, sometimes people just make little products or crafts and are just asking for a little support and nothing is wrong with giving a little help or support. If some one ask me to visit their site on mylot or if i'm interested in buying, once I have the money and i'm interested I will buy, I will support them. If I don't know them or trust them as yet I will try to negotiate with them, or they will have to have some web cam so I can see them as well. Just as how everything on ebay is not a scam" It's the same as everything on Mylot is not a scam. I want to compliment Antiquelady on her beautiful bags and purse that she is making and I am letting Antiquelady know that once I gather the money I will purchase one of your products. Keep producing and I know that their are people out there who have a heart will support you, and I am one of them.

Hi MasonL, I can tell you from my perspective as a regular eBay user and why I do it. eBay is not actually a scam site, but maybe some of their members are, same goes for mylot and many, many sites on the net. Both are huge communities but work in a very different way, eBay has been accused of ripping off sellers with their high fees, but I don't think none of those people takes a minute to consider what it takes to provide such a big marketing display and the selling potential it has by offering their product or service to this vast population. I do agree there are many other places like, as your mentioning: mylot, to offer your stuff and don't get charged but paid instead, but then again, how can you trust someone you don't know who is located who knows where? I know, you might say the same about eBay, but that's what they do, the congregation of people is so much secure and the buyer/seller protection against fraud that they offer can't be compared with any other site, or at least no other that big. You may get lucky and find someone that is selling that particullar item you're looking for, or be even more lucky and find someone that is willing to buy something from you as well (at this point, you think they'll pay you in advance? or even better, would you pay in advance?) Two different communities
