Looking Back at High School

Around where I live it is getting to be the time of year that all of the schools are preparing for prom and graduation. It was always an exciting time in high school! Even now, it is fun for me to watch the girls find the perfect dress for their prom. What amazes me, though, is how young everyone looks. I always thought I wouldnt be one of those people. I havent even been out of high school for 10 years yet, but all of the seniors just look so young to me! It seems like little girls and boys are dressing up in fancy dresses and tuxes. Soon, little boys and girls will be wearing caps and gowns to cross the stage and get their diploma. When I was in high school, I felt old as I was graduating. I realize now just how wrong I was! I am still young, but did I look that young when I graduated high school? Do you ever look back at your high school years during prom season? Do you think high schoolers these days look so much younger than you did when you were in high school?

I don't think that the seniors in high school right now look young at all. I feel that some of them look older than me and i only graduated high school in 2004 and they all look like they want to be someone famous trying to dress all fancy and dressing up all the time. I feel they are trying to look older all the time and i am just myself and i feel that they look at me when walking around in the mall as i am the same age as them. I do miss my high school days and of course my senior prom was amazing and i lvoed every minute of high school.
