My daughter has found a website: swapadvd.com, where you exchange dvds with others online. Basicly she wants to know if any of you have used the site and if you liked it. You're suppose to post DVDs that you don't want and other people order them from you. After they recieve the movie you're suppose to get a movie credit which you use to order a DVD for yourself...its suppose to be totally free except for the postage stamp you use when someone orders one of your DVDs, but its ok 'cause someone else pays for the postage when you pick a movie for yourself. OKie dokie thats bout it. haha she just wants to know someones opinion on the site. Thanks a heap!

Katie received her first trade in the mail last week; it really works, trade-for-trade. She's a pretty smart cookie!

I have never used that website. In theory, it is a really great idea! I would be hesitant to use it though. I know that my husband and I take really good care of our DVD's, but not everyone does. What would happen if you got a DVD that was scratched and didnt work? Would you be able to get your DVD credit back? If you do decide to use the site, I hope it works out for you! The pessimist in me is often wrong, thankfully! I hope that is the case for swapadvd.com

I'm guessing (hoping) that its legit. I found out about it from the "Women's Day" magazine, but it doesnt hurt to be careful. We're testing it out so HOPEFULY it won't be a total carwreck haha. I believe you can return the DVD to the company and they replace your credit...but yet again I'm not 100%

What a nifty idea! The next time I have a DVD I don't like very much I will have to remember to try swapping it on this site.
