Are You Going to See The New X-Men Movie, Wolverines?

I personally have never taken a liking to that movie series, but hey, what do I know...maybe they are good, maybe they aren't...? The main actor with the long claws (which shows just how much I follow/have followed the series) appeared on the Daily Show with John Stewart, so that was really the only reason I knew about it. :) Are you or are you not going to go see it? It apparently has good reviews so far, but as audience anticipation, what are your personal views on the movie? -Fresh Writing

It has released already I see. It has not been released in India yet and I dont see it getting released as many movies dont get released here. Even though there is a huge fan following for X-Men. Hope I do get the CD soon.

I will go see it, but with little enthusiasm. The reason for my blase attitude is that I'm a fan of the real X-men, you know the comic series. When the first X-men movie came out I was so excited to finally see my much admired X-men brought to life... I practically hated it. It was only Hugh Jackman's performance as Wolverine and PAtric Stewart's Professor X that saved it for me. The story line had been altered to nearly unrecognizable proportions and most of the casting was a off target. But through much deliberation and discussion I acceptes that this is not a telling of the story of the X-men, it is a reinvention. This is a NEW X-men story. I had to wwatch these movies like they were a new concept, because they had so little resemblance to what I'd grown up with and loved. Now I like them for what they are, good action movies with familiar named characters and super powers. I expect the same of Origins. Though I'll be honest, their choice for Sabertooth... wow.. a DEFINATE reinvention if ever there was one. Thank goodness Liev Schrieber is a good actor or I'd have no hope for the rols of Sabertooth. Tsk, tsk, tsk... I suspect the movie will water down the depth that is Wolverine into something fit gor a PG rating. So sad. Anyway, my preclivities aside, I'm a fan of the originals so I may not like it. But I'm happy for all you who don't know the first X-men, you'll probably love this movie.

Huh! Interesting response! VERY lengthy- nice...thank you for the movie feedback! The main X-Man guy (Hugh Jackman, I'm presuming) seems like a pretty cool guy- I might go see it, but it'll have to really blow me away (as in me not having to see the first and catch onto the second with undying amazement :) ). Thanks for writing this! I rated you a "Best Response," FYI. See you later, -Fresh Writing

No I am not. I do not care for that type of movie. I am sure he will go with some friends if they can work it out. Alot of times they have problems with everyone's work schedule. If not, he will go by himself. He has done that before.

I was thinking about going to see it this weekend. My friend went and saw it, and he said it was decent. From what he tells me, its alot of action, and thats really all I am expecting. Not expecting any romance or anything coming from an X-men movie...

It's a good movie! Save your self a couple of bucks you can watch it at home on www.ovguide.com. Get and s-video cable or HDMI and hook it from your computer or lap top to your tv. Saw the movie two weeks before it hit theaters. Same with lots of other movies..

I haven't seen it yet, but I hope to get the chance to see it, soon. I don't get the opportunity to see new movies very often. I'm just really busy with school, relationships, and such.

I actually read a bad review on this movie, but I am an X-men fan, so I will definitely be seeing it! The "lead guy" by the way, is Wolverine, and he is played by Hugh Jackman.

When you say you're an "X-men fan" do you mean of the earlier movies or of the comic series?

I watched at home two weeks ago on ovguide.com. Pretty cool movie, I was worried at first on how they were going to tie it in with the first xmen movie. Pretty good, I like it quite a bit. I'm easily entertained though.

I saw it last week ago. It was a good movies. I like to watch the actor, for me he was so handsome and he did good action. But i feel the story is too slow, it was difficult to get the main story before the middle part. I like the visual effects too, that was very amazing for me especially the action part.
