Do you like your middle name?

Well I got stuck with the name Mary Ellen. I hated it growing up. I imagine you know what happened. "Mary Ellen, where's John Boy and Jim Bob?" Now, of course, at 40 years old I'm not getting that, but I still hate the Ellen part to my name. What do you guys think of your middle name?

i think ellen is a very pretty name. my middle name is jo & i like it. alot of people call me that.

I have seen people on here calling you Jo...I like that name to. My cousins name is Josephine and we always called her Jo. My husband wanted my daughter to have the middle name Ellen and she has no problems with it, but when my granddaughter was born she left it to me on rather or not the grandbaby would be stuck with Ellen. I opted on no, but went to Ella to try to make it close to us.

my aunt's name was josephine. that's who i was named after. they just shorted it to jo. i think ella is real pretty to.

I have more than one and I am okay with two more than the third. I love Ca'Meka..just because of the way she decided to spell it...Scarlet..well, I love it because for me being born where I was it was unique...and Alexandria is after a greek goddess I think of wisdom or something so I definitely like that one..the one I like the least is Ca'Meka though..

Ca'Meka is really nice. I really like the spelling especially. I have a friend who's lil girls name is Shameka, I'm not even sure of the spelling, but I've heard that a lot. I like a little bit of the unusual as long as it's not crazy unusual. I especially love my new grandsons name. He is Ronan Fox. God, I love that name!

My middle name is Sue and I was teased unmerciful with Suzie Q and Run around Sue. I am okay with the name now I have no problems with it since getting out of school and stopped being teased. Kids can be so mean and cruel sometimes and sometimes it is just best that some kids don't know a middle name.

Hi cicisnana...My mother's name is Maryellen so I guess I always liked that name because of her. My middle name is Jean and it was my father's favorite aunt's name who passed away just before I was born. So I'm named after someone who was special to him. I think you have a great name!
