Hey guys, most people are kind of funny when it comes to their money right? I want to tell you all about a funny thing that happened to me and I want to know if this has ever happened to you before, okay:)? About a month ago I went to a store and I was making a purchase. Lo and behold as I'm standing there attempting to count out my money owed to the cashier, he commence to going inside of my hand to take the money out and was going to count it for me. Well I was shocked and appalled to say the least b/c I don't care if it's just a penny, I feel that the cashier has no right to go into a customers hand to take anything out of their hand not unless permission had been granted. Mind you I'm not a cripple or a quadriplegic( thank God), I have all of my correct thinking facilities and i try to use each one of them to it's fullest potential, including my brain and even the math components of it. Now I may not be able to count money out as fast as a accountant or a tax person but believe me, when it comes to my money I can count it down to the penny. Anyways I'm curious if anyone else has ever had this experience b4 where the cashier is in such a hurry to get you in and out of the store and on to the next customer that he commence to unravel ur fingers from a clinched fist and he takes the money out of ur hand? Needless to say that I had to teach him a few lessons that day which I tried my best to handle in a very tasteful manner. Oh it's a good thing that I was walking in the spirit that day.

Hi, Citychic. Nope, that has not happened to me yet nor have I seen anything like that. What the cashier did to you was really wrong and I am sure that she will be reprimanded by his boss if they knew. If a cashier would do that to me, I hope I can handle it well like you but I would definitely make him realize too that his actions were wrong. Have a nice day!

Hello Rainegurl........ There were a few things that i forget to mention. The cashier that was trying to take the money from my hand was an Asian man. Perhaps his views and perceptions were a bit different from most people's and I didn't really think about all of that until after wards but I was so tempted to really lay him out, he just didn't know. So when he asked me what was wrong and I decided to take the high road and just tell him, you don't do that to people. In certain societies that would be a good way to get ur hand cut off if you decided to take something from somebody. Now I"m not saying that I'm this type but something inside of me did rise up to let him know, he was wrong and I don't think that he will ever try to do that to anybody else again. And basically that was the only message that I was really trying to get across to him. Anyways, thanks for responding. Hopefully you will never have to run into anybody like that. That was awfully bold of him, I thought and it was just taking things a bit too far.

Yes that was very naughty of the cashier to do that but I remember seeing a cashier I guess trying to help an old lady but she was actually taking the money out from her purse, which at the time thought it bit dangerous on the cahiers view as the old lady could have said she took more than she should have, but I know she was only trying to her the poor old lady but a bit naughty I think.

funny about my money........... Hello lilaclady, I know what ur saying but believe me I am not so old where I need someone to be digging money from out of my hand. If I ever get that old and helpless then I need to be sure and take someone with me whenever I go shopping. It would be someone that I trust to go into my wallet or to get the money out my hand, not a perfect stranger. Anyhow thanks for parcipating...... God bless you sweet friend!
