Hi,mylotters`~how's going`?it's my first post after several months' dissappear~hope you don't mind~~lol Regarding to my question,I just feel curious that if you will bring the namecards of your clients when you're going out of office, going back home or even during your happy holiday?I will do when I'm on biz trip or going home on regular working days.BUT,I will not be taking them during my holiday. The reason for them is simple,I would like to make everyone of my clients in touch during the working hours or say working days, but never during my relaxed holiday~lol How about you my friends? Will you? Thanks for sharing~~

I am very happy to see you are back:) I never want to bring any work stuff when I am off work. I need my own time. Perhaps later I shall scan my clients' namecards to my cellphone so that I can find their contact information wherever I go at anytime. I love China

I dun think i will be bringing them along with me to wherever i'm going.. IT might be embarassing if i were to give the wrong name card to my clients though.. haha =D But at the same time, it can also be impressive if one has got some big shots as their clients, and at the same time, those name cards might be helpful in a way.. lol =D BUt then again, if there's a chance, i still wont be carrying them around for fear of losing them too.. hehe ^_^ As for holidays, i definitely wont be carrying them unless some of my clients are in that country i'm visiting.. haha =D

I definitely say leave work at work. There is a time for work and when you are supposed to be off is not the time to be working especially if you work for someone else. It may look odd or be offensive that you called clients while you weren't on company time. Happy MyLotting.

Hi,my chinese friend! As for your question,i think,a laptop could bring you all the info. you need about you clients wherever you are.Just make you names card into a eletrical version. That will pay off your efforts and time.Anyway,Glad to meet you in this international community.Bytheway, what's your career or occupation,if i am allowed to know about.

I bring all my clients information in my smartphone. It much better than bring all of their business cards. I have hundreds of clients so bringing the digital data is the best solution. Sometimes i need to send a greeting to my client or send a quick invitation to all of them. By just set the target on my smartphone, i can mass send the digital invitation for all of them. Have a nice day and happy mylotting.

my business is have on the sales, and since i work out of my home, i have everyone's business cards here. i tend to call clients i know well on holidays or vacations to wish them well or ask if they need anything - the extra attention to my clients is well rewarded... but when i need to step away from work, i put myself in a communication blackout - it's very hard to reach me when i don't want to be reached...

Hello tonytt2009, I work from home, and I have to say when I 'm a away from my home office I do not bring my clients information along with me, that is my time to get away from work and business and relax and enjoy my self etc, it will seem a little pressuring bringing my work along with me, then my life will revolve all around my work, and there are other things in my life that have to be done. I hoped this helped!
