What is your criteria for PERFECT MAN/WOMAN??

There are lots of people singe in the world and searching for their true love. If you ask them that why are you single still now?? They will say you that they are searching for their perfect man/woman. We always look for certain qualities while falling in love with someone. But is there anything like perfect man/ woman exist. Because we will never find a person who is just perfect for us because we can not get all the qualities that we are looking for in one man or woman . Still we say and we will always say that we are searching for a perfect man/woman?
So what is your criteria for PERFECT MAN/WOMAN??

none of us is perfect man or woman,if you are looking for a perfect mate you will neveer have one. that is why i never remarried.lol.

I know that there is nothing called "perfect man or woman". But we always try to optimize the number of quality that we are looking for in our mate. Being single is not always happy feeling specially in the old age. We always need someone to stand by us. And our mate is the most suitable person for that. Because we spend the hole life with that person. No one in this world can be happy being single for the hole life. We should experience love because it is the most beautiful relation in the world.

That's easy for me. A man that isn't afraid to fix anything. Won't biiitch at me if I'm on the roof cleaning out the gutters or chopping down trees. Doesn't mind me smoking and just puts up with all my other crap. Pretty simple.

Perfection is an illusion , there was a time I was also trapped with this notion but now I dont care for it.I now look for imperfection which compliments my imperfection

i'd say no one is perfect.i think you're referring to who perfect to b with you for a lifetime.i have my husband he's not perfect in his qualities but i think he's given to me by GOD because he's perfect to match with my attitude.

The word perfect does not mean that he/she has to be perfect in all respect of life. Perfect means that the person should match with you properly. Like as you said that your husband has the same attitude as yours. So he is perfect for you because you both think the same way and thus all the things become easy because there is no conflict between you and your husband. That is the meaning of perfect.

Hi Arkasen,
To speak the truth human beings never achieve perfection and the term that is used to denote matching or like minded one we use the word 'perfect' right. That some section of people are always with this or that excuses that they are looking for the "perfect partner" would never be in any serious relation and even if do some of them are most likely to settle with the imperfect one.
I never get myself to listen such whining as looking for the perfect thing. All gossip.

i choose someone who really cares about me. i can tolerate his disadvantages if i really love him. i think tolerance is the most important in a lasting relationship.

I think tolerance is not the right word that could be used here. If you have true love for your partner then there is no space for tolerance and the same thing also applies to your partner. I think the right words to use for the kind of situation you are mentioning is that you both should accept each others imperfections and be happy with it. I think that's what makes a relation more stable.
But according to me trust, dedication and devotion, faithfulness are some of the most important criteria that we all to forward to.

I dont really have specific criteria. I look for a man who is fun to be around, understands me, doesn't want me to reveal everything about myself all at once. One who knows how to really treat a woman with respect. I don't think a person can be prefect, but we can find perfection through their flaws.

No one is perfect.We choose friends who have many things in common with us.But they are not all the same as us.we live in this world we should learn to tolerate.so when we fall in love with somebody,not because he is perfect.we should share everything with each other.when I choose someone,he must share his minds with me.the looks is not important.the qualities in him is first of all.

dear arkasen, their is no criteria for a perfect man or a woman, individual have their own likings , for some, being chubby is beautiful, for some, lean is in, for others tall dark so on, the list just goes on and on , so lets just leave it for individual to decide who is their perfect guys or girl
