Tarja or Anette and why?

Okay, I'm going to start the debate which has been raging for a while. This is the kind of argument that I usually tell Nightwish fans not to have because it usually turns out pretty ugly but I'm hoping people can be civil and discuss their opinions properly here. So, which vocalist do you prefer and why? Personally, I love them both. They may both have completely different styles and images but they both brought something special and unique to the band individually. In my opinion, Tarja did deserve that position once upon a time but, after her morals changed, I think Anette deserves it just as much as Tarja once did. Both are amazing performers and I love them immensely. What is everyone else's thoughts?

Both are good. Old Nightwish sound is for Tarja. But since Nightwish approach a newer sound, Tarja won't be fit in. The new sound is where Annette belong. Annette cannot sing kinslayer as good as Tarja even though Annette sing Wish I Had An Angel very well. Tarja also won't sound good if he sing Amarath on Seven Days To The Wolf. Both singer have their own strenght.

Tarja, hands down. She was just the person to be fronting the band. Annette misses much of the unique operatics that Tarja had and that kinda makes their music more sloppy now, not to mention way more mainstream. But nothing against Annette other than that, she's a pretty capable and foxy singer herself.

Like yours, I cannot pick one of them since they have different styles and both are amazing. Tarja can reach your inner heart with her voice while Anette she has a wild and wonderful voice. I'm glad to have them both and being able to hear them, their songs are hard to describe. Even though how ths came up was a little gloomy but now things are well quit more than that. Nightwish with Tarja will never be forgotten but Nightwish with Anette are true artists also Tarja seems to enevre fade and continues blooming with her unique voice. I love them both, they are great wish I could say more about them but words cannot describe them, only by listening their songs you can know what I'm trying to say about them.

I prefer Tarja. There's something about her voice that made their band unique. Voice opera plus heavy metal? Cool Combination. For Anette, it's like having Briney Spears or one of those Pop singers singing songs with heavy metal background, not a good combination!
