Ever have one of those days, where it feels like your feet weigh a thousand pounds each and the whole weight of the world is settled on top of your head? I have a lot on my to do list, piles of laundry, baby bottles to wash, cleaning and cooking, and I don't want to do ANY OF IT! I've already been procrastinating for 5 hours just wasting my life here on mylot and elsewhere on the web. I wish I could just go to sleep but that ain't gonna happen with the kiddos here. I NEED to do some stuff around my crapshack, but I JUST DON'T WANT TO!!! How about you? What are YOU putting off doing right now by wasting time here with me?

There's a list of things I SHOULD be doing. Right now I'm even trying to put off breathing, it hurts. Darn bug....

I'm just ignoring my kitchen table altogether. ...........all the things that need to be put back where they belong. I can't see the table from here so all is well at the moment. Still ROFL at MYKL not having motivation to fart.

it's my dining room table that is buried under junk. I wonder if mykl has summoned the energy to pass his wind yet?

oh boy! You are sure in a swell mood today not right now as I am mylotting on the sly at office but at home, don’t ask me what I not procrastinate…me thinks I deserve to offer a Master’s Degree on the Art of Procrastination! What I put off most is dusting and cleaning the house and my best excuse (to myself) is: what’s the use, it would be dusty again in a few days time!

I had a busted kitchen sink for a bout 2 weeks while hubby was out of work and couldn't afford a new faucet - it sucked! I had to wash baby bottles in my bathtub! Sorry that your sinks busted, but at least I'm not the only one not doing anything!

Yep that is so my world! I could of written your post easily! I hate it every aspect of it. Hubby was raised by a neat freak you'd think he'd be better at this than me as I was raised by an absolute slob. But ya know it gets to ya when no one will put away their wash atleast hubby & my oldest or put their dirty wash down the chute. Same with dishes and plates they are all over the house, and I'm supposed to magically come up with forks ect when no one but me can put their dishes away. I'd like to go on strike 100% but you know things would just get worse so what's a girl to do??? I try to do bit by bit when I'm in the mood.

My 20 month old son has covered EVERYTHING in my living room with bright pink chalk (the TV, the floor, the fish tank, the walls, the couch cushions, himself) as I wrote this discussion. I don't want to clean THAT up either! LOL

Yep I've had that too. How about throwing all their stuff off the bed so they can jump on it or set up a lil people village. Hubby does the same if I have a basket of his wash sitting there to be finished do you think he puts it away... nope either puts it at the foot of the bed or just layws down and pushes it off the bed and let it land where it wants to. So then how does one know what's clean & dirty?

I have days like this. Luckily I have a dishwasher and just throw everything in there. My husband likes to do laundry so I don't really have to do it. This is the first day in like a week that I am spending the day at my house and there's so much to do yet, I want to just stay here LOL

I too have a dishwasher, but that still means I have to put the clean dishes away before I can pack it up with the pile of dirty dishes in my sink and I simply don't wanna! Much more fun to stay on the lot with all of you.

I have days like that. I've has weeks like that too. I think the most part is you get overwhelmed and then don't really know where to start first. Oh I know laundry needs to be done and this needs to be cleaned and the kids bedrooms swept, but can't muster up the energy because I'm overwhelmed by it all. I do finally get my head around (and off my computer) and then look at it as one task at a time but not thinking they all need to be done at once. Hm, well this discussion is a kick in the pants - would stick around, you reminded me that I need to hang clothes out. Sometimes people just need a little motivation. Thanks for the motivator.
