We always celebrate Mother's Day this past few years by going out but its already expensive so I would buy my mom this sweet apple and make her a chocolate cake instead. I hopefully will be able to spend some time with my mother for Mother's Day. I am working on crocheting her a dishcloth set, with potholder and towel. Hopefully I can get it finished before that day gets here. Seems like I have so many different irons in the fire this week.

The thing about Mother's Day is that you don't have to spend a pile of money. Most moms would just like you to spend time with them. If you want to treat your mom to a special day, make her lunch or dinner and hang out with her for the day. Little things mean a lot to a mom. Handmade stuff is special too. You can't buy something personal like a handmade card in a store.
