My brother is 18 today (and I haven't gotten a gift yet)
Does anybody have a good idea for a birthday present for an 18 year old boy????
Any ideas will be appreciated!!!!
I feel like a horrible sister, please help me fix my procrastination...

No you aren't a horrible sister! I have found with kids this age that gift cards are often better than trying to purchase a gift for them to open. But if you are insistent, you might try a t-shirt of his favorite sports team. Is he a hat wearer? Many stores have a large selection of baseball caps. What about a movie that he might want on DVD? Or a portable DVD player that he can carry with him.

If he is into PC games, his favorite game, also a Dvd of his favorite movie, I guess you went through the tie, shirt set, tools, etc. It depends on what he is interested in. I feel that it is best to find out what he likes, what is he interested in, and go from there. So if he is into hockey, you can get a book on his favorite team, or if he is into computer, some Dvds and Cds, etc. And if he is into building and repairing, a set of tools. Believe me, he will be using it later on.

Hi, jess. that's so sweet. anyway, how i give a gift depends on the person's personality. I wanted my gift to be memorable and it should be something that he needs or is something he can use or I know he would appreciate. Or it could be something that you make by yourself if he's the type that's very appreciative of effort.
So, i think it's only you (and his close friends) who can think of a perfect gift for him. you can try to ask his closest friends what thing he always talk about, it could be an upcoming concert or game that he looks forward to. in my brother's case, he likes movies, so I can give him DVDs of his fave movies or tv shows.
as for my boyfriend who loves gadgets, it's not so easy to pick up cuz what he likes won't cost any lower than a hundred bucks, hehe.
^^v hope this helped.

Well, it would be a costly present but how about about presenting him a bike this b'day? I know it is costly but you can talk to your parents, can't you?
So, a bike because he is 18 and he can now ride a bike with a D/L. I am sure he will be happier than ever!
