A sad day in the U.S.

Today I opened my email account to only see that the swine flu has claimed it's first victim in the United States. I'm angry that this wasn't caught sooner and that this woman passed away after just delivering a perfectly healthy baby girl. What are we missing about this disease? Why can't we seem to be one step ahead? I think that this is just awful and until right now I was in a good mood. My heart goes out to her family and to her little girl who has to go on now without her mother because of this stupid swine flu. I wish there was something I could do to help the situation.
