How do i get my hair to be black?

hi there! i really love a woman with black hair, i don't know why but it just seems so sensual to me. i have really dark brown hair, it passes as black to some people, in the winter. however i really want that raven black hair! i've tried coloring it 3 times already, it gets darker but not really black... i tried it 2 in the salon and once at home... i have thin hair, but a lot of it. do you have any suggestions on how i can get it to be really really really black?

I've never had a problem making my hair black with black dye, and my hair is blonde.

well mine is a really rich brown, the dye doesn't seem to 'stick'. i've thought about bleaching it and then dye it black...

not such a great idea. often when a dark dye is used on bleached hair, the base colour comes through, and you could end up with red, blue or even green tinged hair.

well thanks, but as i've said, i did that 3 times already and didn't work...
